Having file names like "Report Final," "Report Final Final," and "Very Last Report Draft I Promise"? Well, Syft's new report preview option means you no longer need to worry about this!
With the ability to preview a report before downloading it to PDF, you can ensure that everything that's meant to be there is present, all your dates and details are correct, and everything is ordered as it should be. No need to worry about any errors creeping in without you noticing!
How does it work? 🧐
When you want to download your report from the Template Reports page, you can preview it first to ensure that everything is in order. Simply click the "Download" button and then select the option to "Preview report."
Alternatively, you can click the ellipsis (...) next to the report's name and choose to preview it from that menu. It's that simple!
You can then choose whether you'd like to download the report or cancel and fix any issues you've identified.
Closing thoughts 💭
We love this new feature because it saves you a lot of time and PC space when downloading PDF report packs! However, if you want to take this even further, you can eliminate the need for PDFs altogether by using Syft's Live View functionality. We're big fans of the Live View report as it's all hosted online, and you can add comments to it in real time.
