And, as such, reports are one of our most popular features.
So, it made sense to make some changes to improve the reporting experience for everyone.
From new and improved prebuilt templates to enhancements to your reporting workflow, we have something for everyone to enjoy. Let's take a look at what's new!
New and improved pre-built templates ✅
Over the past few months, we've decluttered the reporting template page to focus on what's most important for you. We have created some brand-new prebuilt report options based on what’s most useful to you and your team. These include:
Detailed business overview and management pack
Multi-period business overview and management report
Sales, customers and products report
Cash management report
We know that the funding pack has always been one of the most popular prebuilt reports, so don't worry! It is still included as an option alongside the other newer templates.
Note 📝: Legacy templates are no longer available for download. However, you can download reports you've generated in the past that used these templates.
Identify which report can be used for which plan 🕵🏻♀️
We've made it quick and easy for you to identify which reports can be generated for which entity with the help of a Plan column. Now, all you need to do is visit the Plan column under Template Reports to assess which entities are able to use certain template reports.
In addition, as you begin building your report, you will be notified if a certain feature is unavailable for certain plans so that you can ensure that the report will work for the entity you are working with.
Styling changes 🎨
We've added a column for tags to help you categorize your report templates with ease. Moreover, there are now new drop-down menus within your report templates that provide you with a description of the elements included in each report.
Rearrangement of the report builder 📊
There are some minor adjustments made to the report builder to improve ease of use. The most significant change is that all the selection options align perfectly to the categories of features found on Syft's side panel.
