Multi-graphs are expanding! A little while ago, we introduced multi-graph functionality to Income vs. Expenses. This week, we’ve added multi-graph capability to Top Accounts, under Profitability. This means that when you’re building a report, you can add multiple Top Accounts graphs to a single page within that report β€” something we know you've been wanting.

Let's take a look what this means in reality.

What does this include? 🧐

This multi-graph consists of four Top Accounts visuals:

  1. Top Expenses

  2. Top Sales

  3. Top Cost of Sales

  4. Top Other Income

Now, when you build out your report, you can quickly and easily add different Top Accounts graphs to the same page to make comparisons and spot patterns at a glance.

Multi-graph options πŸ“Š

Along with the ability to choose a colour scheme, determine which dates to focus on, and deciding whether you'd like to see your data points in a table underneath the visual, you also have the following options:

  • Limit to: Choose whether to see the top 3 or top 5 accounts

  • Comparison: Compare data to either the prior period or prior period last year. If you're in an entity-specific report, you will also have the option to compare to your budget

  • Show zero accounts toggle: If you toggle this on, accounts with a value of zero in the current, but data in the prior period, will still show. If toggled off, only accounts with a value in the current period will show. This is toggled on by default.

In addition to the new graphs you can add to a single page, we've also added the ability to unpack the exact contents within a graph that you've added to a report by hovering over "View details."
