Dashboards provide you with a beautiful, interactive interface on which to view all your most important metrics exactly as you like them. We've added many new features to this beloved tool over the years, and today, I'm happy to share that you can now add comparisons within Dashboard cards to get a clear sense of trends over time. Read on for the full details.

You can now compare the data in cards within your dashboard to data from the Prior period or Prior-LY. This can be useful if you would like to see how certain metrics have trended over time and whether you have improved since the last period or last year.

These selections are dependent on the selected period type. For instance, Prior is only available for weekly and daily periods.

Certain cards only have the compare-to options of Prior-LY and None. These include the following:

This setting can be adjusted via the menu settings menu indicated by the cog icon at the top right of each card. Simply click on the cog icon and select "Compare." If you hover over "Compare," you'll see the relevant options.
