One of the most beloved features of Syft is our graphic visualizations of data. As Jim Leeves, Co-Founder and Head of Numbers at UK-based accountancy and marketing firm Shapes, says:

β€œWhen clients can visualize their data on Syft, they can better grasp their financial situation.”

Syft helps users create beautiful KPI graphs that are easy to understand and interpret. And now, you can do this for consolidated entities as well. Our latest update means you can now visually contrast the underlying entities of a consolidation across every metric to assess how they compare.

How does this work? 🧐

Navigate to Visualize -> KPIs & Accounts -> Accounts or KPIs. You now have the option to select either the consolidated view or the multi-entity view.

If you select the multi-entity view, you can compare all the entities within your consolidation side-by-side.

Note πŸ“: This is only available for the line graph, grouped bar graph, stacked bar graph, and horizontally stacked bar graph in Accounts.

Under KPIs, you can also leverage the bar chart and sort your entities from best to worst performing to get a clearer picture.

New customization features 🎨

In addition, we now have further graph customization options to make your graphs look exactly how you want them to. This means you can pick the colors for each entity or metric and select a pattern type for comparisons to budget or forecast.

Closing thoughts πŸ’

Visualizing your data in customizable graphs gives you a clearer sense of how your business is performing. The addition of multi-entity graphs for KPIs and accounts extends this powerful tool to consolidations, giving you the ability to compare the performance of key metrics in each underlying entity. All it takes is the switch of a toggle. We hope you will enjoy this new functionality.
