2023 has been a whirlwind year for us at Syft Analytics. From worldwide travel to exciting new features and coveted awards, the year was a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence around the globe.

Not only did the team expand with new hires, from software engineers to sales experts, but our new online learning platform, Syft Campus flourished with the launch of tons of new courses.

As the year draws to a close, it's time to reflect on all that we've learned and achieved and consider what we have to look forward to in the year to come. Read on to learn about how many events we've attended, the awards we've won, our plans for the new year, and how many cups of coffee we've drunk in 2023!

Events hold a special place for us at Syft. As our Co-Founder, Eleftherios Kyriazis, said in a recent LinkedIn post:

"When we first considered sponsoring events we looked at the options and thought: "How does anyone afford this!". Even a $750 booth seemed like a big investment - but we had to connect with more customers...

Fast forward to today and there's no better way to accelerate learnings and get more feedback. Not to mention the incredible showcases our partners put on!"

By traveling to events around the world, we are able to build meaningful connections within the accounting and business community and find out what the pain points are for our partners in different regions. There's no better way to find out what people need from their software providers than by talking to them.

In 2023, we really have done the distance with team members going as far afield as Australia and New Zealand on the one end and the USA and Canada on the other – plus everywhere in between. Here's a full list of events we attended in the past year, broken down by month:

And if you've been to any of these events, you'll know that our team boasts an array of fabulous Syft merch, from specially designed t-shirts to our much-beloved braai salts. Over the course of the year, we've gifted more than 3,000 braai salts!

At the heart of every successful organization lies its people. Our team has been the driving force behind our achievements, growth, and relentless pursuit of excellence throughout 2023.

This year, we hired 20 new members of staff, across all departments of Syft! And our people have been productive and well-caffeinated year round. Here are the stats I know you've really been waiting to read:

2023 was a big year for us as a software company as we launched a plethora of new, more powerful features, integrated with many other software providers, and helped our users generate thousands of reports in a fraction of the time. Here are some amazing stats from the past year:

The wheel of Syft keeps on turning all year round.

In addition to the advances made in our software, Syft Campus has grown immensely in the past year. Syft Campus is not yet old enough to be considered a true toddler, yet it has had an incredible growth spurt with 23 new courses released, more than 3,400 new users enrolled, and more than 220 Syft Certified Pro Advisors.

We also hosted our very first in-person Syft Certified Training Day in 2023 and are excited to expand this to different cities in the future.

Syft Campus serves as a testament to our dedication to empowering accountants and business owners with the skills they need in this ever-evolving digital landscape, from digital skills to soft skills such as communication.

2024 is sure to be an eventful year, filled with just as much travel, more new team members at Syft, and tons of new features and powerful improvements to the software. We have also recently released our new Financial Statements offering, which is currently in beta, and we look forward to hearing about your experience of working with this.
