2024 has been a whirlwind year for us at Syft Analytics. From worldwide travel to exciting new features and our acquisition by Xero, this year stands as a testament to our dedication to excellence around the world.

Our team expanded with more than 25 new hires across Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Design, and more. Syft Campus, our online learning platform, flourished with the launch of tons of new courses and a brand-new certification, the long-awaited Syft Chartered Advisor (SCA).

As the year draws to a close, it's time to reflect on all that we've learned and achieved and consider what we have to look forward to in the year to come. Let's take a little trip down memory lane.

Events hold a special place for us at Syft as they help us touch base with our international customers and partners within the accounting and business community. By participating in various events, we are able to keep a finger on the pulse of today's pain points and ways we can assist with region-specific solutions.

In 2024, members of our team traveled far and wide to meet with Syft customers all the way from Australia and New Zealand to the USA and Canada on the other – and everywhere in between. Here's a full list of events we attended in the past year, divided by region:

And if you've been to any of these events, you'll know that our team boasts an array of fabulous Syft merch, from specially designed t-shirts to our much-beloved braai salts. Over the year, we've gifted more than 3,000 braai salts!

At the heart of every successful organization lies its people. Our team has been the driving force behind our achievements, growth, and relentless pursuit of excellence throughout 2024.

This year, we hired 25+ new members of staff, across all departments of Syft! And our people have been productive and well-caffeinated year round. Here are the stats I know you've really been waiting to read:

2024 was a big year for us in terms of our software. We launched a ton of new, more powerful features, added connections to HubSpot and Xero Payroll, and helped our users generate thousands of beautiful reports to share with their clients, teams, stakeholders, and investors.

In addition to the advances made in our software, Syft Campus has grown tremendously in 2024. We have more than 20 new courses, more than 300,000 videos watched, tons of projects we completed with universities around South Africa - and exciting plans to expand internationally next year! Plus, we introduced some brand-new lecturers to our platform.

What's more, we have more than 800 Syft Certified Pro Advisors and the number is growing every week.

Syft Campus reflects our commitment to equipping accountants and business owners with essential skills for today's rapidly changing digital world, encompassing both technical expertise and soft skills like effective communication.

2025 is sure to be an eventful year, filled with just as much travel, more new team members at Syft, and tons of new features and powerful improvements to the software. We are also excited to be joining the team at Xero following our acquisition and look forward to finding new ways to provide accountants and business owners with the tools they need to thrive.
