Ledgers, the powerful tables on Syft, have undergone significant enhancements. These changes, from the way they are constructed to the ability to duplicate Ledgers, are designed to meet your specific needs.
Most recently, we've introduced advanced issue detection on hover, a feature that allows you to spot and rectify any errors in your equations before they become problematic. These updates are aimed at enhancing your experience and making your financial and data analysis tasks more efficient. Read on to learn all about detecting issues in your equations.
How does it work? π§
When you're in a Ledger, you'll be able to see equations that you've built that have issues, such as deleted references. These issues will be signified by a pink "fx" label. If you hover over this label, you'll find information about the data source as well as what the issue is. This way, you'll be able to detect and fix any errors in your equations in no time.
Any invalid equation characters (such as an actual account + a random letter) will also be flagged as "Invalid equations."
Closing thoughts π
Equations are great for custom ratios or KPIs specific to your industry or business, such as "Revenue per team member," "Website visits per sale," or "Salaries as a percentage of total expenses." You just want to make sure that your equations are accurate.
With this update, we've made error detection in your Ledger equations a breeze.
If a reference is missing, you'll receive a notification, and the issue can be promptly investigated. This streamlined process ensures the integrity of your financial and data analysis, giving you the confidence to rely on the Ledgers tool for your business needs.
