Johannesburg, August 2024 - Syft Analytics has won the App Partner of the Year award at Xero’s prestigious awards ceremony, held during Xerocon Nashville on Thursday, August 15, 2024. The awards evening, an intimate dinner that celebrated all Xero Award finalists, showcased the achievements of the apps, accountants and bookkeepers supporting the US small business community.

Xero’s Small Business Insights data has highlighted that small business sales have been on the decline in the recent past (in fact, nearly all of 2023 showed a decline); now more than ever they need the support of accountants, bookkeepers and apps to mitigate the impact of such economic challenges. Winners exemplified both key technological adoption and implementation as well as trusted advisory services for their clients, while maintaining stellar external reputation and internal satisfaction.

There were 9 trophies up for grabs for US-based accountants, bookkeepers and apps, including but not limited to Accounting Partner of the Year, Bookkeeping Partner of the Year, Advisory Innovator of the Year, Practice App of the Year and Emerging App of the Year awards.

Company background

Syft Analytics empowers users to create and collaborate on reports and projections, with 6,500+ US entities connected and 2,000+ added in the past year. The company provides excellent customer support, hosts educational webinars, and offers free courses through Syft Campus.

They integrate AI throughout their platform, enhancing user experience with features like AI-driven insights, Syft Assist AI, and predictive analytics in their Cash Manager tool. The app improves Xero users' workflow by automating tasks such as consolidating reports, compiling management reports, and pulling transaction-level data. Their commitment to innovation and client care, along with features like segmentation and forecasting tools, has earned praise from numerous users and accountants.

Ben Richmond, Managing Director, North America, Xero said:

“Every time we host the Xero Awards, I’m reminded of why I got into this profession. They highlight just how passionate our accounting, bookkeeping and app partners are, and how much they help small businesses day in and day out - operationalizing their processes, implementing new technologies and giving them the power to take their businesses by the reins.”

Vangelis Kyriazis, Co-Founder and CEO at Syft Analytics, commented on the win:

“Winning this award means so much to us at Syft Analytics as we are committed to supporting accountants, bookkeepers, and business owners to make better decisions with their data. Everything that we do, from our latest product innovations to our dedicated regional support teams, has the end goal of making financial data simple. Thank you, Xero, for this recognition.”

This year’s judging panel was made up of Xero leadership, along with guest judges from the Xero community and industry leaders.
