We love dashboards on Syft as they empower you to unlock a realm of boundless possibilities for visualizing your data and sharing it with your team, investors, or clients. You can easily integrate a dynamic dashboard with everyday technology, such as Microsoft Teams, and circulate it with collaborators.

Today, we are happy to share some improvements to the usability of dashboards, especially when you share them. Let's dive in.

What's new? 🧐

A new version of shared dashboards is now live. To check it out, navigate to "Visualize" --> "Overview" --> "Dashboard" and click on "Share dashboard." You will then be able to copy the link to your dashboard to share with colleagues, stakeholders, or clients.

One of the greatest new additions to the tool is the ability to quickly ascertain whether you are viewing historic or current data. Next to the words "Embed link," you'll see a little pill that indicates if your dashboard is using live data. This makes it much simpler to tell if you are showing rolling data.

Moreover, thanks to the careful work of our designers and software engineers, it’s now easier to create new dashboards and manage existing dashboards. To create a new dashboard, simply click the + icon next to the pencil icon to the right of your dashboard's name. You can then give your new dashboard a name and start adding cards to it.

Pro tip 💡: Don't forget to save your dashboard so you don't lose any of your hard work!

Closing thoughts 💭

The latest enhancements to dashboards make it easier to create, manage, and navigate your dashboards while also being able to see if your data is current.

These are small improvements that form part of a larger picture. This is just the beginning of our dashboard updates. Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks as we have some exciting updates on the way. Until then, happy dashboarding!
