After the COVID-19 pandemic, a few things became abundantly clear. For instance, a lot of the meetings we used to have really could've just been emails. There's so much that you can accomplish online, so many ways that you can connect virtually, and even build relationships. However, there's nothing like actually being there. We are so excited to be able to meet so many of our incredible Australian and New Zealand partners in person at Xerocon Sydney to close the distance after months of exclusively online communication.

Members of our team will be flying out from a not-so-sunny South Africa to exhibit at the ICC Sydney and the excitement is palpable!

We are gearing up for two jam-packed days that are dedicated to helping you uncover the full value of Xero and the apps within the Xero ecosystem. You can expect a host of informative talks and break-out sessions and tons of exhibitors showcasing software to equip you with the tools you need to manage your practice in this time of radical change.

There's a very promising list of guest speakers at the event, ranging from Xero's new CEO, Sukhinder Singh Cassidy, to Australian television icon, Julia Zemiro, and former vice president of Nike and expert in purpose-led business transformation, Lisa MacCallum!

And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Xerocon is not just an event; it's a transformative experience designed to enrich your perspective and arm you with fresh insights to brandish in your practice. We are looking forward to the opportunity to meet with our accounting partners and forge new connections with kindred spirits from the worlds of accounting, bookkeeping, and beyond.

When Xerocon wraps up business for the day, we can embrace the mantra of Work Hard, Play Hard by dancing the night away at the Xerocon wrap party on 24 August. The theme of the wrap party this year is Paradiso, and it promises to be a great occasion complete with head-bopping live music and a special appearance from Sneaky Sound System.

We'd be lying if we said we weren't keen to let our hair down and get the blood pumping in our weary feet again after two days of exhibiting. And we're sure you'll be glad to join us there too.
