From the ability to change the background color or font color of a whole column to the ability to copy conditional formatting across columns, the world really is your oyster.
Change colors 🌈
We recently introduced the ability to change the color of text in your Build P&L and other custom-built reports, but now you can do this on a column by column basis - and the same applies to the background color of your cells.
Want to change the background color of a column in one of your Build reports? It's easy. Here's what you have to do:
Enter View Mode (where the eye icon is selected)
Select the ellipsis (...) at the top of the column in question;
Select "Formatting."
You will see basic column formatting options where you can select the text color and cell background color for your column so that they look exactly as you'd like them to.
Pro tip 💡: Don't forget to press apply and to save your Build report frequently!
Copy conditional formatting 🙌
We recently introduced conditional formatting to Ledgers. Now, we've added even more functionality, including the ability to copy conditions across columns within your reports.
How do you do this? Once again:
Select the ellipsis at the top of the column
Click on "Formatting"
From here, select "Copy existing"
You'll be prompted to select a column to copy from.
And presto! You've now successfully copied over the conditional formatting from another column.
