Our Financial Statement add-on is redefining how you create and present your Financial Statements and, thanks to your feedback, it's getting better and better. From a seamless new layout to increased functionality in Disclosures, Financial Statements is becoming the statement compiler of your dreams.
What's new 🧐
Financial Statements is now divided into Compile and Disclosures. Compile is where you put together your statements, while Disclosures is where you work on notes.
The new layout of this feature is more user-friendly and intuitive. The aim is to improve your easy workflow. As part of this development, we've introduced the Build and View mode switch in Financial Statements to facilitate layout changes.
You also have preview page which serves as a central hub of everything going on in your statements. The preview page helps you ensure everything is correct before you share your Financial Statements with others.
About notes 📝
Some of the new additions to the Disclosures section are the following:
Notes appear in order. If you click to reorder notes, it’ll change the numbers so that they’re in the correct order, too.
You can save commentary templates at an organization level and then reuse them across your organization. Simply click “Save as template” to do this.
You can also link commentary as notes.
You can also add unlinked notes to your Financial Statements if you don't want them to appear in the Notes column.
