We caught up with Jeremy from An Accounting Gem based in Ipswich, UK. The family run firm of accountants and bookkeepers have been helping local businesses since 1988. "An Accounting Gem" was founded in 2005, and currently services over 500 entities including individuals, sole traders, limited companies and especially business start-ups, in Ipswich, Suffolk and Essex. Having started with spreadsheets and relying on these up to three years ago, the practice has evolved to support a variety of accounting software. These include Xero, Sage accounting and QuickBooks Desktop.

We asked Jeremy a host of questions to see how their on-boarding with Syft progressed and why he chose Syft as the solution for his reporting requirements:

How many months/years have you been using Syft?

"7 months."

How long did it take you to get it set up and familiar with the feature set?

"Couple of weeks."

What was your reporting process before Syft?

"Either manual or by using the reports on the software."

What problem or pain point were you trying to solve with Syft?

"To create a professional report which is informal and professional."

Which features do you like the most and why?

"Ease of use and the reports it creates."

Which feature do you believe your clients get the most value from?

"The ability to see the accounts on a monthly period rather than waiting for year end to make decisions on the business."

Anything else about Syft you would like to share?

"I was at an accountants meeting last month and showed the members of the club your product and how I was impressed with the software."

We are so glad to be able to work with An Accounting Gem and look forward to many more years of partnership.
